Training in Tenerife

04/12/2015

Some pics from my last training in Tenerife.

I had a sweet time, in the water and out, I went there without even looking at the forecast and I had a full training from 3.4 to 4.5 at El Cabezo and Wall, sharing waves with the nice locals from Tenerife.
I went in the water every single day, morning, afternoon and night session most of the days!

Even if I hit el Godzilla a few times and left there some fins, I liked the spot and the atmosphere at the little town… the last days there was no wind and I got a nice SUP from the RRD shop at El Medano, Azul kite boarding,  so I went together with my friend Carolina to the north shore of Tenerife and we discovered some amazing spots, pretty wild and rocky..I had three days of intense Suping at El Socorro, with some nice local surfers, that were accepting the Sups at the spot and were really friendly. I loved the Tenerife vibes! And I enjoyed a lot surfing with the SUP, I hope to train further and travel soon there with my RRD Cosmo 7’5″ in the boardbag too!

If you are thinking to go to the north shore of Tenerife, which is beautiful and still wild, have a look at Fincabebederossurfvillas up in the north shore between the mountains and the sea.

Thank to the locals windsurfers, to the RRD shop, to the amazing cakes of Greta, to Justin, Carolina and friends I felt at home here… and I hope to move there soon!

Enjoy some pictures, action shots taken by Justin Stuart.
